Eddie Codel of eddie.com, is the co-founder and producer of Geek Entertainment TV (GETV), a short form interview style videoblog that pokes from inside the bubble as it re-inflates. GETV targets interesting geeks in the geek-o-sphere, probing for the humanity behind technology.
Eddie co-founded the Webzine conference series (webzine2005.com) in 1998, an independent media forum for learning and collaborating on DIY publishing efforts. He continues to be a core organizer of the event, which took place most recently in San Francisco in 2005. Another Webzine is in the works for 2006.
Eddie is also known agitator of Survival Research Labs (srl.org), a San Francisco based menacing machine arts group that rarely does shows anymore.
